So on that theme we thought we’d delve into five more hidden gems who have all been selected by 1% of players or less.
1 Dejan Lovren – 145 points (1% selection)

Well in reality the Liverpool defender has been fairly consistent all season long, playing more games than any other Reds’ centre-back.
Lovren has vastly improved since Virgil van Dijk’s arrival in January, keeping eight clean sheets in 14 games in all competitions.
2 Pascal Gross – 105 points (0.5% selection)

Brighton’s heartbeat, Gross has been a secret revelation this season.
The German midfielder has been involved in more goals than any other Seagulls’ star this season.
And his fantasy value reflects that, registering a high score of 20 points earlier in the season against West Brom.
3 James Tomkins – 95 points (0.1% selection)

Roy Hodgson the miracle worker.
Hodgson’s arrival came with Crystal Palace sat on a grand total of zero points – and he sorted out the defence before anything.
Tomkins has been his most reliable, popping up with the odd goal too as the Eagles incredibly now look fairly safe from the drop.
4 Wilfred Ndidi – 94 points (o.1% selection)

The man faced with the unenviable task of filling N’Golo Kante’s shoes has given a fairly decent crack.
While Mahrez and Jamie Vardy hog the headlines, Ndidi is the Leicester engine room and is unsurprisingly attracting attention from bigger clubs.
His average match rating of 7.16 this season is higher than Dele Alli (7.14) and Willian (7.10).
5 Chris Wood – 86 points (0.4% selection)

Considering goals are a real premium for Burnley Wood’s return this season has been pretty impressive.
Wood has been limited to just 18 starts after an injury half way through the season but he’s managed nine goals.
To get even remotely close to the 100 point mark this season considering his lack of starts is no mean feat.
