Ruben Neves’ incredible first game in the Premier League has got everyone talking
That was worth the wait, wasn’t it Wolves fans?
In their first Premier League game since 2012, Nuno Espirito Santo’s boys showed us all exactly what their about by twice coming back from a goal-down to finish up drawing their season opener with Everton 2-2.
We imagine the Toffees £52million summer signing Richarlison will steal most of the headlines tomorrow for his two-goal display, but we personally think the day belongs to Wolves talisman Ruben Neves.

ACT FAST – SIGN UP TO PLAY FANTASY FOOTBALL BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE!The Portuguese midfielder was one of the outstanding players in the Championship last season, proving to be the centrepiece of Wolves’ title-win.
The 21-year-old netted six goals during their stunning campaign – all from outside the box – to finish behind Ryan Sessegnon in the Championship Play of the Year awards.
So naturally we were fairly curious to see what he could do in the top-flight and he certainly didn’t disappoint in his first outing.

With Everton going 1-0 up early on, Neves hit an incredible free-kick just before half-time to level the score.
Amazingly, that was his seventh goal from outside the box, proving he only scores bangers.
But it wasn’t just the goal that set him apart.
The Portugal international absolutely ran the midfield, spraying pin-point 40-yard passes left, right and centre to expand Wolves’ play, eventually helping them score with his assist for the second equaliser.
At full-time, everyone was talking about him.
Wolves have fairly lofty ambitions and will certainly not make-do with simply surviving in the Premier League this season.
But even so, we fully expect one of the big boys to come knocking for this tasty midfielder sometime soon.
In the meantime, why not stick him into your Dream Team?
He’s already proven he can do bits in the Premier League and is currently priced at a reasonable £3.0m on Dream Team.
